Maple Almond Chia Oats

This oatmeal is simple to make, and so comforting, healthy, refined sugar free and so delicious. You can also use this recipe to make overnight oatmeal but I prefer it warm.

The chia seeds add extra texture and so many healthy benefits to your recipes. They are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, and they provide fiber, iron, and calcium. Omega-3 fatty acids help raise HDL cholesterol, the “good” cholesterol that protects against heart attacks and strokes.

Maple Pecan Glaze for Topping

I topped this oatmeal with my warm cinnamon maple pecan glaze recipe. Get the glaze recipe below. This glaze is also perfect for pancakes, waffles or any desserts that you would like. It only requires a few ingredients to make.

I don’t make resolutions for the new year but I’m on a mission of adding more whole foods to my eating habits and cut the refined sugar. A great way to add more healthy food to your daily intake is making fun recipes. Just because it’s healthy doesn’t mean it has to be boring.

I’ve been dealing with nodules and fibroids in my uterus and breast since a young age. I know that just by eating wholesome foods I can start feeling better and even solve the problem. After my last mammogram, I was alarmed by the amount of nodules I have. So my mission is to bring more healthy recipes to my diet, of course with some treats.

Let’s start with this delicious oatmeal, here’s the recipe:
