Calories
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cup warm water warm to touch not hot (about 105°F – 110°F)
- 4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
In a glass measuring cup or a small non-reactive bowl, add very warm water, yeast, and sugar. Whisk and let it sit until a yeast froth forms on top (about 5-8 minutes).
In a large bowl add the yeast mixture, flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix everything using a rubber spatula folding gently until it combines.
Add more flour if needed. Starting with 1 tbsp. at a time if the dough is very sticky and not pulling naturally away from the sides of the bowl. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it sit for 10-20 minutes. If you have time let it sit for 1 hour.
Split into equal halves or your desired size depending on what you are making.
Preheat the oven to 350 while you set your pizza with your choice of sauce, chesses and toppings.
If making 2 pizzas the baking time should be around 18 minutes each pizza depending on your oven. For breadsticks and mini pizzas baking time may vary.
