These mini cakes are a fun and colorful way to celebrate Halloween. They’re made with my Vegan Apple Cider Donut and covered in brightly colored frosting. Then, you can use candy eyes and other decorations to create a variety of cute and spooky Jack o’ Lantern mini cakes. I used a pumpkin silicone pumpkin mold to make these mini cakes. In addition, I used a small star tip inside a piping bag to cover them with The Best Buttercream Frosting. You can use any cupcake or cake recipe to make these mini-cakes. Spooky Coffin Mini Cakes
These mini cakes are decorated to look like little graveyards. Also, they’re made with my chocolate amaretto cupcake recipe and topped with hazelnut spread and crushed Oreo cookies to look like dirt. Although you can use your favorite chocolate cake recipe or a cake mix, I recommend you try my recipe. Then, I added homemade Oreo spiders, white chocolate skulls, and white chocolate drizzles to simulate a spiderweb. Check how I made these mini coffin cakes on my Instagram
Bats, Mummy, and Frankenstein Mini Cakes
Firstly, these mini cakes can be made in various flavors, from classic chocolate and vanilla to more adventurous options like pumpkin spice or candy corn. Secondly, the best part about these mini cakes is that they’re easy to eat and perfect for parties, desserts or to surprise your neighbors like I did. You can also use a cake mix or store-bought frosting as a shortcut. To make these individual cakes I used these separate cake pans. To decorate these cakes I used my Wilton Master Tip Set. For the mummy mini cakes, I used Wilton tip #104 to make the lines across the cake. For the monster mini cake, I used Wilton tip #16, and mini peanut butter cups for the ears.
